Comedians of the World
This episode, the Kaizen Crew takes a look at Netflix's Comedians of the World series and picks out three comics they want to analyze a bit further. Those comics are:
Joel Creasey was born on August 11, 1990 in Sydney, New South Wales. He attended high school at Wesley college and graduated in 2007. After high school, he attended Curtin University studying political science and foreign affairs for three months before dropping out to focus on stand up. Creasey tried stand up the first time at 15. Two years later, he entered into the national stand up competition “Raw Comedy”, which he reached the finals of. By 2010, he debuted at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival where he earned a nomination for “Best Newcomer” and was signed to Andrew Taylor Management. His stand up really began to pick up after that as he began performing sold out national tours. In 2014, he performed at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Canada. Since then, Creasey has continued to put on sold out tours and was recently featured in Netflix’s, “Comedians of the World”.
Ivan Decker is a canadian comedian – recently featured in Netlfix’s “Comedians of the World”, and won the 2018 Juno Award for his comedy album ‘I wanted to be a dinosaur.’ He has been on conan and Just for Laughs festival in Montreal.
